Silver in Azure
a poem...
In the Caribbean Sea, I saw you like a shard of silver in the endless blue, barely caught my eye among the tarpon, triggers, and turtles. You trailed behind me, carefully confined a few feet below the wind swept waves. I looked down, while you were looking out. You were hiding your speed, your silver skin, and your vicious hunger behind your thin, sleek, toothy smile. When you turned, your body revealed itself to me, predatory, sleek, aggressive, a weapon in the azure of you.
